19th C. North Indian Gold Wootz Katar with sheath

A 19th C. Indian Wootz Katar from Rajasthan richly decorated with unique thick floral gold with some loss which alternates on the outside bars and inside bars from a front-eye view. 
The battle-ready blade is made of Indian Wootz steel in which the fullers have been etched in-house showing a high-contrast pattern with the edges being given a mirror polish finish. 
This elegant yet extremely battle-ready katar is accompanied by the original wooden-core scabbard covered by velvet in the traditional style.
