18th Century Sakela Tulwar
A gorgeous 18th century Tulwar featuring a bulbous grip hilt. The blade is made of pattern-welded steel and houses two stamps, one underneath the right side langet and one 5 inches further down the blade. Two fullers run down the length of the blade and the blade flattens out about 3 inches from the tip.
Remnants of gold koftgari can be found on the hilt's grip, quillon block and on the backside of the pommel disk. This tulwar likely belonged to royalty or someone of elite status.
